GetMeHired ("GetMeHired", "we", "us", or "our") provides a job-search and application-management platform, including the GetMeHired Autofill browser extension.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it may be shared with service providers, and the choices available to you.

By using GetMeHired or the GetMeHired Autofill extension, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you use GetMeHired.

Account and Authentication Information

We may collect:

  • Email address
  • Account authentication information
  • Information associated with your Google account when you choose Google sign-in
  • Information required to maintain your authenticated session

GetMeHired supports Google OAuth and email/password authentication.

Profile Information

You may provide information such as:

  • Phone number
  • Location
  • Employment history
  • Current company and job title
  • Years of experience
  • Education
  • Degree and field of study
  • Skills
  • Languages
  • Notice period
  • Salary information
  • Visa or work-authorization information
  • Relocation preferences
  • Other information you choose to add to your profile

Resume and Documents

You may upload resumes and other documents to GetMeHired.

These documents may be stored in our cloud storage and processed to provide features such as resume analysis, information extraction, and resume generation when you request those features.

Job and Application Information

When you use GetMeHired or the GetMeHired Autofill extension, we may process information such as:

  • Job title
  • Company name
  • Application webpage URL
  • Application status
  • Date of application activity
  • Resume selected for an application
  • Number of fields filled or requiring review
  • Other application-tracking information generated through your use of the service

Information from Application Webpages

When you explicitly activate the GetMeHired Autofill extension on an application webpage, the extension may access the active webpage to identify supported form fields and provide the requested autofill functionality.

Depending on the form, this may include information such as field labels, field values, and form structure needed to determine which fields can be populated.

The extension is designed to operate on the active webpage when you invoke its functionality.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Create and manage your GetMeHired account.
  • Authenticate users and maintain secure sessions.
  • Store and manage your profile.
  • Store resumes and documents you upload.
  • Provide job-search and job-management functionality.
  • Provide requested resume analysis and resume-generation features.
  • Provide the GetMeHired Autofill extension.
  • Fill supported application fields using information from your GetMeHired profile when you request autofill.
  • Attach a resume selected by you when supported by an application form.
  • Record application-tracking information requested or generated through your use of the service.
  • Provide customer support.
  • Maintain security and prevent misuse.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information.

We do not use information collected through the GetMeHired Autofill extension for third-party advertising.

4. GetMeHired Autofill Extension

The GetMeHired Autofill extension helps users complete job application forms using information stored in their GetMeHired profile.

The extension:

  • Requires the user to initiate the autofill functionality.
  • Accesses the active application webpage when the user invokes the extension.
  • Identifies supported application fields.
  • Uses information from the user's GetMeHired profile to populate supported fields.
  • Can use a resume selected by the user when the application supports resume uploads.
  • Allows the user to review and edit information before submitting an application.
  • Does not automatically submit job applications.
  • Does not click the final Submit button on behalf of the user.

The extension may communicate with GetMeHired's servers to authenticate the extension, retrieve profile or resume information requested by the user, provide the requested autofill functionality, and record application-tracking information.

5. Data Storage and Service Providers

GetMeHired uses third-party infrastructure and service providers to operate its services. These providers may process information on behalf of GetMeHired as necessary to provide the relevant functionality.

Lovable Cloud

GetMeHired uses Lovable Cloud for cloud infrastructure, PostgreSQL database services, authentication, and cloud storage.

Information stored or processed through these services may include account information, profile information, resumes, application information, and other information necessary to operate GetMeHired.

Database access is protected using controls such as Row-Level Security and server-side authorization mechanisms.

Lovable Cloud Authentication

GetMeHired uses Lovable Cloud Auth to provide authentication and account sessions, including Google OAuth and email/password sign-in.

Authentication and session information is used to securely identify users and authorize requests.

Cloudflare

GetMeHired uses Cloudflare's server and edge infrastructure to run server-side application functions and protected API endpoints.

Requests to GetMeHired services may be processed through this infrastructure as necessary to operate the application and extension.

Lovable AI Gateway

GetMeHired uses the Lovable AI Gateway for certain AI-powered features, including resume analysis, keyword extraction, and tailored resume document generation.

When you request an AI-powered feature, information necessary to provide that feature may be processed through the AI service.

Dodo Payments

GetMeHired uses Dodo Payments to process subscription payments and manage billing for paid GetMeHired subscriptions.

When you subscribe to GetMeHired, information necessary to process the transaction and manage your subscription may be provided to Dodo Payments, including account, subscription, and transaction-related information.

Payment details submitted during checkout are processed by Dodo Payments in accordance with its own privacy policy and applicable security requirements.

GetMeHired does not intentionally store your full payment card details.

Apify

GetMeHired uses Apify for automated job-data ingestion and refresh processes.

Apify is used to retrieve job listing information from configured external job sources. Job ingestion data is used to provide job-search functionality.

The GetMeHired Autofill extension does not send your personal profile or resume to Apify for the purpose of job ingestion.

6. Data Sharing

We may share or provide access to information with service providers that process information on our behalf when necessary to operate GetMeHired.

These providers may include:

  • Lovable Cloud, for application infrastructure, database, authentication, and storage.
  • Cloudflare, for server and edge infrastructure.
  • Lovable AI Gateway, for requested AI and document-processing features.
  • Dodo Payments, for payment and subscription processing.
  • Apify, for job-data ingestion and related job-search infrastructure.

We do not sell personal information.

We do not share personal information with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, legal process, protect the security of our services, prevent fraud or abuse, or protect the rights and safety of GetMeHired, our users, or others.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the services, maintain your account, provide requested features, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and maintain security.

If you delete your account, we will take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize associated personal information, subject to information that we are required or permitted to retain.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

These measures include server-side authorization, database access controls, Row-Level Security where applicable, authenticated API requests, and secure session mechanisms.

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your account and applicable law, you may:

  • Review and update your profile information.
  • Update or delete uploaded resumes.
  • Manage your GetMeHired account.
  • Disconnect the GetMeHired Autofill extension.
  • Stop using the Autofill functionality.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated personal information.

You should also review the privacy settings and policies of third-party services you use to access GetMeHired, such as Google.

10. Children's Privacy

GetMeHired is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to provide consent to the processing of their personal information.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
